RISING MERCH
Rising Melbourne. A winter’s festival of art, music, performances, and events that sprawls across Melbourne’s surrounding streets, car parks, churches, theatres, and Fed Square with Flinders Street Station as the central hub. Over 400 artists bring a diverse range of art and performances this year to reawaken the city.
We had partnered with Rising Melbourne to produce a collection of merchandise for the artists, staff, and the Rising online merch store.

What we did
Production Partner
We produced a range of merch for sale through the festival including the scarves and beanies featuring the vivid Rising blue. The reversible beanie was produced from a 100% cotton knit, with a Rising woven tag.
The double layered scarf features the oversize Rising logo which was Jacquard knit from 100% Cotton.
The beanies was additionally used to keep all the staff warm through the winter festival.
The blanket is sold in a screen printed drawstring canvas bag.
The blanket is a digitally woven jacquard featuring a detail of commissioned artwork Zugubal: The Winds and the Tides Set the Pace legendary Maluyligal/Wuthathi artist, Brian Robinson.
The original digital artwork titled is on display in the Shadow Spirit exhibition held at the Flinders Street Ballroom along with 30 other First Nations Artists.
To turn the annual poster into a functional product, we produced a set of 100% linen digitally printed tea towels The tea towel set includes the 2021, 2022 and 2023 poster artwork for each year of the festival, including the 2 years when Rising was postponed.
Euphoria is a new, immersive installation by Julian Rosefeldt that tests capitalism’s mantra of endless, euphoric consumption. Capitalism is a resilient fog.
We created three enamel mugs that feature slogans inspired by Euphoria.
The tote bag was given to the artists that exhibited and performed at the 2023 festival, made from 14oz natural canvas, with a single colour screen print of the festival logo and details, finished with Rising Melbourne branded binding ribbon.
