AGSA x Frida & diego merch
Iconic works by two of the most influential and loved artists of the twentieth century – Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera – feature at an Australian exclusive exhibition, alongside works by key Mexican contemporaries, held at AGSA, Adelaide. The exhibition features over 150 pieces of art that reflect love, passion and political movements that the two artists were entrenched in. ‘Love & Revolution’ showcases paintings, works on paper, photographs and period clothing from Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection.
We were asked to design a range of merchandise that celebrates this Australian exclusive exhibition Frida & Diego ‘Love & Revolution’.
The collection was designed to have a range of products that sat across different product categories and price points.

Production Partner
We designed a small 12oz cotton canvas phone bag, featuring a digital print of the artwork titled 'Diego on my Mind'. The bag features an adjustable cross-body strap, lining, YKK zipper and a back slip pocket with a matte snap button.
The playing cards are printed on 300gsm art paper finished with a glossy varnish and stored in a glossy laminated tuck box that features the artwork and exhibition details.
We featured the artwork ‘The bride who becomes frightened when she sees life opened’ this was digitally printed on 100% Linen tea towel.
The tote features a digital print of Frida Kahlo Self portrait artwork and features complimentary green canvas shoulder straps and internal slip pocket. The seams are finished with an organic cotton binding and a large AGSA woven label.
