Tsu lange yor
A collaborative endeavor created by Australian actor and singer Troye Sivan and his brother Steele Mellet, Tsu Lange Yor introduces a collection of elevated home objects and fragrances that defy convention, designed not only for individuals but also for the spaces they inhabit. In conjunction with Tsu Lange Yor’s brand identity, developed by Christopher Doyle & Co., we were approached to source and produce all primary packaging and collaborate on the secondary packaging for TLY's debut collection of lifestyle scents and objects.
Our ongoing collaboration involved sourcing vessels, structural packaging design, and production management for the following items:
100g and 210g candle vessels
25ml and 50ml EDP perfume bottles
Customised zamac perfume caps
Secondary packaging for the oil burner
Secondary packaging for the limited edition dreidel
Discovery set, 2ml vials, and outer packaging

Sourcing Vessels
The start of our collaboration began in August 2022. We were engaged to source the primary vessels for the project.
This consisted of two sizes of candle vessels, two sizes of eau de parfum vessels and the creation of a bespoke zamac lid.

A custom mould was developed for the 50ml EDP. The lid cast from zamac was developed with Joel Adler, referencing shapes and textures from the dreidel design.
Product Labels
All product labels were printed here in Australia.
The oil burner and 25ml EDP amber bottles feature a silver foil paper.
Candle and EDP labels were printed on Manter Cottage Ultra White, a textured chlorine free cotton paper from Spicers Australia.
Printed stickers with an emboss and spot UV.
Secondary PackaGIng
After the primary vessels were approved, we worked closely with Christopher Doyle and Co and TLY on the development of the secondary packaging.
After the first round of structural packaging designs were developed, we held a full day workshop with the CD & Co and TLY teams to work through the different packaging elements. This included an in-depth analysis of paper stocks for all outer packaging.
Each scent features its own complementary paper stock. Pool features a textured Lunar Crater paper.
Designs feature blind embossing and spot UV finishes.
A range of straight tuck boxes and inserts were designed to house the oil burner blends and candles.
The inserts feature a contrasting paper stock, designed to suit each accompanying scent.
50ml Eau De Parfum
Rigid boxes were designed to house the 50ml EDP. The cutout resembles the bottle shape and the bumps in the zamac lid prevent the bottle from rotating. The outer sleeve is made from 2mm box board wrapped in a textured paper stock.
OIL BURNER
A custom rigid box was designed to house the hand-cast oil burner, a collaboration between Tsu Lange Yor and Joel Adler. Crafted with precision and premium materials, it ensures the safe transport and presentation of the oil burner. Its sleek design complements the product's organic form, with blind emboss details alluding to the shape of the product within.

The oil burner is produced in Australia from recycled brass and polished Aluminium. Each box style features a contrast internal paper to wrap the internal structural of the box.
Prototypes were made by hand to workshop the cutout for the organic form.
Dreidel
The limited edition dreidel and tray were designed in collaboration between Troye Sivan and Joel Adler. Made of recycled aluminium and hand-polished, the packaging needed to showcase the beautiful limited edition piece.
Designed to display, protect and archive the pieces safely, we designed a custom wooden box to house the dreidel and tray. Removable trays allows for the dreidel to be presented first, with the base held in the lower tray.
The wooden boxes are produced in Victoria, Australia.
The uncoated sleeve, designed by Christopher Doyle & Co alludes to the cut-outs within, featuring blind embossing and a spot UV.

A limited edition run of 150 products are paired with authenticity certificates signed by both Joel and Troye, printed on a translucent cellulose paper.
LImiTed EDITION candle gift pack
The self folding box is crafted from Freelife Vellum 320g paper in white, featuring printed artwork from Tom Polo.
The box uses an alligator tear strip that reveals the TLY branding when torn. Once fully opened all three individual candles are revealed.
