NGA X CEZZANE TO GIACOMETTI
We’re proud to have designed and produced the official artist merchandise range for Cézanne to Giacometti: Highlights from Museum Berggruen / Neue Nationalgalerie, as part of our ongoing partnership with the National Gallery of Australia. This exhibition marks the first time these iconic works have been shown in Australia and is presented in partnership with Museum Berggruen, Berlin. Over 80 works from the Berggruen collection with over 75 works from the National Gallery’s collection, together these expansive bodies of work illustrates how social connection and networks acted as driving forces during the development of international and Australian Modernism.
The show explores the exchange of ideas between pioneering European modernists, including Cézanne, Picasso, Braque, Matisse, Klee and Giacometti and their Australian contemporaries. Artists such as Russell Drysdale, Grace Cossington Smith, John Passmore and Dorrit Black reinterpreted these radical approaches, helping reshape the course of Australian art.
To accompany the exhibition, we developed a range of merchandise including
2 custom tote bags
Socks
Zipper pouch
