IDLE PACKAGING

Agnes Bakery entered a new chapter. In early 2025, the Anyday Group announced its relocation to neighbouring New Farm, reimagined as Idle, a warm, 36-seat bakery-café. We were engaged to design, develop and source their full packaging suite, ensuring every detail complemented the brand’s refreshed identity.

Idle continues the tradition of artisanal breads and pastries that made Agnes a favourite, now paired with a concise all-day breakfast menu, a lunch menu that includes take away salads and roast chickens, plus a provedore market section.

We worked through the design stage to create a cohesive system that blends custom and off-the-shelf packaging. Bags and boxes were designed to suit every product and pastry, while keeping a consistent look and feel.

PACKAGING

The custom packaging suite includes pastry boxes, salad boxes, paper bags, pouches, roast chicken bags, butter paper and branded tape. All packaging layer the Idle blue without compromise, in FSC®-certified food packaging that’s as responsible as it is beautiful.⁠

MERCH

The range of merch included an oversize tote, cap and bread bag. Using a dry bag construction the reusable bread bag allows for fresh storage of Idle’s sourdough.
