HECTOR’S DELI PACKAGING

Established in 2017, Hector’s Deli has solidified itself as one of Melbourne's most iconic sandwich deli’s. The milk bar turned neighbourhood sandwich shop has quickly gained cult status amongst Melbourne foodies. At Hector’s they aim to connect with people and for those people to connect with each other over simple relatable food.

Working with the team at TRiC, we were asked to help with the structural design for a range of packaging products.

The range for Hector’s Deli includes a large and small carry bag and catering tray. Drawing inspiration from the Hector’s Deli brand created by TRiC, the catering tray features a custom diecut vent inspired by the shape of the logo illustration. By incorporating a vent we were able to ensure that the sandwiches inside can breathe, preventing the chances of them becoming soggy.

The carry bags come in two sizes featuring scored fold lines to ensure there’s a perfect fold every time.

We also collaborated with Hector’s Deli to create a fully custom tote. The tote features two wine bottle pockets, two sets of handles, two internal pockets (one with a zip), keyring holder and an oversize branded woven tag.

We produced custom keyrings made from 3mm iron stamped nickel with a recessed black illustration.
